I just wanted to make updates for upcoming events this semester. 
Theatre Departments presentation of, Canticle: The Song of Saints Francis and Clare, a retrospect to Franciscan Heritage week and the 150 anniversary of Quincy University. Students will be performing, Thursday, October 1 and 3, 2009, in Machugh Theatre at 7:30 p.m. 
Quincy Public Library will be hosting a series, Big Read, which is promoting &lt;i&gt;To Kill a Mockingbird&lt;/i&gt;. The library received a grant from The National Endowment for the Arts to promote the novel. Quincy University&#039;s Theatre Department will be presenting a live performance at the Adams County Courthouse on October 15, 2009. The performance begins at 6 p.m. Seating is limited and reservations must be made prior to attending. The live showing of, &lt;i&gt;To Kill a Mockingbird &lt;/i&gt;is free and open to the public. For more information and to reserve seats, please contact the Quincy Public Library at (217) 223-1309 ext. 221.</description>
