Theatre Departments presentation of, Canticle: The Song of Saints Francis and Clare, a retrospect to Franciscan Heritage week and the 150 anniversary of Quincy University. Students will be performing, Thursday, October 1 and 3, 2009, in Machugh Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Quincy Public Library will be hosting a series, Big Read, which is promoting <i>To Kill a Mockingbird</i>. The library received a grant from The National Endowment for the Arts to promote the novel. Quincy University's Theatre Department will be presenting a live performance at the Adams County Courthouse on October 15, 2009. The performance begins at 6 p.m. Seating is limited and reservations must be made prior to attending. The live showing of, <i>To Kill a Mockingbird </i>is free and open to the public.
