So, you’ve decided to come to Quincy University. Or you’re here already, or you really haven’t decided. Whatever. It doesn’t matter which category you fall into- the issue of how you’ll get from home to school and back home is always there. And with gas prices as high as they are, chances are even if you are blessed with the gift of wheels you’re looking for a better option.
Luckily, Amtrak is here to save the day. Getting to and from Chicago couldn’t be easier.
To Chicago:
- Board at Quincy at 6:12 am and get to Chicago at 10:35 am
- Board at Quincy at 5:30 pm and get to Chicago at 9:53 pm
To Quincy:
- Board at Chicago at 7:35 am and get to Quincy at 11:58 am
- Board at Chicago at 5:55 pm and get to Quincy at 10:18 pm
And since I know that not everyone lives in Chicago… there’s still the fact that you can then take another train to wherever you are from or a plane. Thank you, Chicago, for being such a transportation hub!
Getting to St. Louis is easy enough as well, although not as easy or convenient as the train. There are bus services from Quincy to St. Louis that, although they are cheaper than driving, are not really more fun or comfortable. So I leave that decision up to you.
